In this image andy hughes has used this upside down lighter in the centre of the image to make it a focal point. This image uses the scene of the lighter stuck in the sand with no other rubbish to create a scene that makes the viewer feel upset or annoyed about rubbish being left on the beach, or anywhere else. I think that this image was created in a studio with a sandbox, and studio lights to create a beach scene while being able to control the light and create the white within the lighter. I like this image as it really portrays the litter problem, whilst also creating a visually pleasing image.

In this image andy hughes has used a bottle to create an image that portrays the bottle on the beach to create a beach scene with litter on it to give the viewer an emotional or upsetting reaction to the image. I think this image was created on a beach scene with lights to light up the bottle and keep the background dark. Andy also used the rule of thirds by keeping the bottle on the corner points, making the bottle a point of focus. I like this image as it shows the problem with litter on the beaches whilst also creating an image that is interesting.
